About the event
Camille Myles, a visual artist from Tiny Ontario, is opening her first solo show in the Upper Gallery of Quest Art, located in the Midland Cultural Centre. The exhibition entails the artist’s multimedia explorations, utilizing explosive and organic forms to mirror her autobiographical journey of transformation and change. Her sculptures and paintings evoke the dualities of motherhood through their symbolism: chained, caged, and the protector. For a preview of the show: https://www.camillemylesart.com/reemergence
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 29th from 5-7pm at 333 King Street in Midland. Entry to the gallery is free to the public and refreshments will be served. (RE) Emergence will be on view from June 29th-August 5th.
This show has been supported by RBC Arts Incubator & Ontario Arts Council and curated by Rodrigo Moreno.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening.
